Record original-alignment implementation and traceability checkpoint
Capture current source, content data, tests, asset licenses, and original-specification traceability. Original implementation remains incomplete. The accepted matching UI generation passed 154 suites and 12,253 checks, with eight rendered staff-contract screens reviewed. Latest native Windows and full-original acceptance remain outstanding.

# Persistent HUD layer skin
Partial P23/P25, original B-12.4 and B-13.4. Removed the permanent green HUD override and restored the existing fantasy profile's parchment/brown/gold FRONT palette. BACK uses dark iron blue/grey panels, monitor-green selection and pale readable text. Main HUD frames, navigation/build/action buttons, headings and facility/staff information change with the normal layer button/Tab path. Dynamically constructed main buttons pick up the active layer. Existing warning colours remain semantic. No art files, asset rights or simulation schema changed. The current flat-frame art style remains; this is not acceptance of all final skin assets or BGM.
Theme changes while the build palette was open left its old expanded height after collapse, causing five viewport-layout failures. Closing the palette now defers BottomBar.reset_size until theme/layout updates resolve. Styles also initialize in the current saved layer and traverse only on later layer changes, avoiding redundant startup work. Final main dashboard139 checks PASS. Native layer-skin11 checks PASS: normal BACK control, panel/text contrast palette, toolbar bounds, unchanged map coordinates, repeated exact FRONT restoration, paused time, initial BACK selection and subsequent FRONT restoration; includes2 captured images. FRONT/BACK screenshots visually inspected at1440x810.

Remaining: auxiliary dialogs, opening guide and specialist panels still have their own skins; full surface skin integration, material texture polish, saved-game UI reload and Windows acceptance remain. This does not complete P23/P25. Evidence: layer-skin-native.log, layer-skin-dashboard-final.log, layer-skin-front.png, layer-skin-back.png and layer-skin-validation.json.

## Opening guide follow-up
The guide panel, body text and header/action button states now register with the shared layer skin. Startup receives the current layer; later toggles flow through the existing main layer path. Folding/unfolding explicitly schedules size recalculation even while paused, without changing guide progress or actions.
Native16 checks PASS and dashboard139 checks PASS on this increment. Native checks include guide BACK palette, unchanged progress/action, paused collapse/reopen, exact FRONT restoration and existing-BACK startup. Current captures guide-skin-front.png and guide-skin-back.png; BACK image visually inspected. The first capture run reused layer-skin-front/back.png, so those older screenshot paths are superseded by this increment and the old manifest's screenshot hashes are historical, not current-file verification. Use guide-skin-validation.json for current evidence. No new assets were introduced.

First operating day/save replay completed with59 checks,0 failures,exit0 (guide-skin-opening.log). Specialist panels/dialogs, final asset polish/BGM, Windows and broader original completion remain outstanding.
