Takeshi 5dde0c5ec2 Record original-alignment implementation and traceability checkpoint
Capture current source, content data, tests, asset licenses, and original-specification traceability. Original implementation remains incomplete. The accepted matching UI generation passed 154 suites and 12,253 checks, with eight rendered staff-contract screens reviewed. Latest native Windows and full-original acceptance remain outstanding.

Japanese Fantasy visual theme

visual-theme-v1.tres is the only resource the main scene references. The simulation does not reference image filenames or theme colors directly.

Replacing the art

  1. Add replacement images beside the existing files or in another theme directory.
  2. Duplicate visual-theme-v1.tres and change its texture references and palette values.
  3. Assign the new VisualThemeProfile to the visual_theme export on the main scene.

Images may have different pixel dimensions because the world preview scales them into its drawing area. A 16:9 landscape image with a straight-on cutaway and a low-detail center produces the clearest construction overlay.

The interface icons are replaceable atlases:

  • facility-icons-v2.png: the sixteen facility icons in the fixed 4 x 4 catalog order.
  • system-icons-v2.png: navigation, layer, resource, and operation icons in a fixed 4 x 4 order.
  • actor-markers-v2.png: eight guest classes followed by eight staff role groups in a fixed 4 x 4 order.
  • ui-skin-v1.png: panels, button states, frames, badges, construction, route, and layer-decoration skins in a fixed 4 x 4 order.

To preserve existing assignments, replace an atlas with another square 4 x 4 image using the same row-major order. To reorder or replace individual icons, edit only the dictionaries and AtlasTexture regions in visual-theme-v1.tres. Gameplay code continues to use stable semantic IDs and never depends on the image filenames.

High-resolution behavior

The UI is authored at a 1440 x 810 base size and uses Godot's canvas_items stretch mode, expand aspect handling, fractional scaling, and HiDPI support. The generated backgrounds and atlases retain enough source detail for 720p, 1080p, 1440p, and 4K output. Mipmaps are enabled on every theme texture so scaled-down assets remain stable and readable. Exact 4K output is covered by the dashboard capture and layout tests.

The complete external-production brief, including dimensions, alpha rules, exact atlas order, prompt recipes, and acceptance checks, is in docs/ART_ASSET_PRODUCTION_SPECIFICATION.md.

If a background texture is absent, the world preview falls back to procedural colors. Visual themes are intentionally excluded from save snapshots and simulation digests.

Generated asset prompts

The built-in image-generation tool was used.

world-front-v1.png

Create a text-free Japanese fantasy world-tree inn background for a rectangular construction grid. Use a straight-on 16:9 cutaway with horizontal timber floors and mostly empty modular room bays. Keep the center low-detail for facilities, characters, routes and selection overlays. Use honey wood, cream plaster, leafy green, muted gold and blue sky. No UI, text, characters, logos, trademarked elements or watermark.

world-back-v1.png

Create a text-free underground world-tree roots background for a rectangular construction grid. Use a straight-on 16:9 cutaway with carved-root floors and mostly empty modular chambers. Use living roots, service corridors, brass pipes, warm lanterns and restrained violet crystals. Keep the center readable for gameplay overlays. No UI, text, characters, explicit content, logos, trademarked elements or watermark.

facility-icons-v2.png

Create exactly sixteen Japanese fantasy inn facility icons as a regular 4 x 4 transparent atlas, in catalog order: reception, guest room, cafeteria, warehouse; kitchen, bath, staff room, security; tavern, massage, guest lift, service lift; staff door, guest corridor, service corridor, tasteful private lounge. Use warm hand-painted RPG styling, clear small silhouettes, equal padding, no text or frames. The first generation was then background-extracted to a genuine alpha channel.

system-icons-v2.png

Create exactly sixteen Japanese fantasy management icons as a regular 4 x 4 transparent atlas: staff, construction, products, exploration; investment, ledger, front layer, back layer; gold, mana, materials, faith; warning, rotate, excavate, save. Use warm hand-painted RPG styling, clear small silhouettes, equal padding, no text or frames. The first generation was then background-extracted to a genuine alpha channel.

actor-markers-v2.png

Create exactly sixteen unmistakably adult Japanese fantasy RPG character busts as a regular 4 x 4 transparent atlas. Guest rows: warrior, mage, rogue, cleric; noble, merchant, outsider/beastfolk/demonfolk, diplomat. Staff rows: receptionist/clerk, cook, cleaner/maintenance, porter; attendant/masseur, guard, bartender, medic. Match the warm hand-painted, cel-shaded facility icon style; use distinct silhouettes and colors that remain readable at 16 to 24 pixels and retain clean detail at 4K. No text, frames, grid, sexualization, nudity, logos, trademarked elements, or watermark. The first generation was then background-extracted to a genuine alpha channel.

ui-skin-v1.png

Create exactly sixteen front-facing Japanese fantasy UI skins as a regular 4 x 4 atlas: outer panel, wood panel, leather panel, parchment panel; normal, hover, selected, and disabled buttons; selection frame, warning frame, queue badge, construction texture; guest route, staff route, FRONT divider, BACK divider. Keep panel corners and edges inside the outer 15 percent and the center stretch-safe for nine-patch scaling. Use honey walnut, leather, antique brass, parchment, moss green, muted cyan, and restrained violet. No text, numerals, characters, facilities, logos, trademarked elements, or watermark.
